Basically the Tax Assistant can be given two kind of work, either in Assessment or in Non Assessment.

If A candidate is given the Assessment kind of work which is the real nature of the Department, then he has to work in the Range office, circles or in Wards which is a normal distribution of the area in the vocabulary of income Tax Department or if a candidate is given Non Assessment kind of work he may have to perform the duties like in the office of Pr.CIT or in Establishment department where he has  do some filing related work .

SSC CHSL 2016 Exam Complete Detail Official

Staff Selection commission conducts combined higher secondary level examination (CHSL Exam 2016) every year for recruitment to the job profile of Data entry operator and lower division clerk in various government department. It is one of the most awaited exam of the ssc as lakhs of aspirants appear in this exam every year.

The CHSL exam 2016 consists of four section namely Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, General awareness and English comprehension and communication skills.

Each section have 50 no. of question and consists of one mark each with a total of 200 marks for the whole paper . Final merit is decided on the basis of the total no of marks scored in all the section .(NO Sectional cutoff)

Each correct answer carry one mark with a penalty of one third of mark for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.

Staff Selection commission conducts combined graduate level examination (CGL Exam) for selection of candidates for various examination in different central government department . Hitherto ssc conducts the examination in offline mode but ssc was hunted by a large scale malpractice by the candidates due to various loopholes in the system, so to plug in the loopholes and to do away with all the lacunas in the system, ssc has tried various methodology like jammer inside examination hall, video graphy of candidates , strict adhering to timings but still news of malpractice was aired by some local tv channels and printed in some newspaper . So to keep the reputation, ssc  is trying to harness the technology which the banking sector is already using for selection of candidates to various job profile.

Now Ssc has taken a very bold decision to conduct the cpo examination online ,so speculation are being made that in line with the decision taken for the cpo examination ssc may use the same method in combined graduate examination 2016 as well.
